
SZA says new album is "finished" and describes it as her "most unisex" project yet
At last night's (3 April) Grammys, SZA gave an update on her new album, revealing it's "finished" and is her "most unisex" project to date.
Last night (3 April) SZA and Doja Cat accepted the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Grammy Award for their "Kiss Me More" collaboration, and in the media room, SZA gave Variety an update on her new record, revealing that she "just finished it up in Hawaii."
Fans have been waiting eagerly for SZA's follow-up to 2017's CTRL, and as well as confirming that it's finished, SZA said "it’s coming soon."
SZA added, "I think it’s my most unisex album. I think it’s for everyone."
The star, who most recently featured on the extended edition of Summer Walker's "No Love" with Cardi B last month, also explained that she was on crutches due to falling out of bed. She said, "Whenever something big happens to me, something crazy happens too."
