Sunn O))) announce live album recorded at BBC Maida Vale Studios
Sunn O))) have announced a new live album titled Metta, Benevolence BBC 6Music : Live on the Invitation of Mary Anne Hobbs, and have released an excerpt of "Troubled Air" from the record as a first taster.
Metta, Benevolence BBC 6Music : Live on the Invitation of Mary Anne Hobbs was recorded in late 2019 at the BBC Maida Vale studios, and was part of a live sessions for Mary Anne Hobbs’ BBC Radio 6 Music show following Sunn O)))'s Life Metal/Pyroclasts tour with Anna Von Hausswolff.
Anna Von Hausswolff also features in Sunn O)))'s session, contributing synths and vocals to the Pyroclasts pieces.
Ahead of the album release later this month, the band have released an excerpt of the closing song "Troubled Air".
