Stella Donnelly shares confident new single "Tricks"
Australian singer/songwriter Stella Donnelly shares another compelling cut, "Tricks".
"Tricks" is the fourth single to be shared from her forthcoming debut record Beware of the Dogs, after "Lunch", "Old Man", and 2017's "Boys Will Be Boys".
Donnelly's new single arrives with visuals co-directed by Julia Jacklin and her visual collaborator Nick Mckk.
On the new single, Donnelly explains, "This song is a playful zoom-in on the ‘Australian Idenitity’ and a loose dig at the morons that used to yell sh*t at me when I played cover gigs on Sunday afternoons. It probably served me right for singing "Wonderwall" every weekend".
Beware of the Dogs is Donnelly's first project since her debut EP Thrush Metal. Last year she also featured on FEELS' single "They Need Us" . Donnelly's debut record features guest instrumentals from bassist Jennifer Aslett, drummer Talya Valenti, and guitarist George Foster, while Dean Tuza took the reigns on production.
