St. Vincent is to release "Rattlesnake" as the latest single from her recent eponymous LP, to be released 3 November.
Continuing sonic motifs that the likes of "Digital Witness" wield - mechanical bass parps, oddball sci-fi marching rhythms and future-rock experiments - "Rattlesnake" veers towards '50s pop hooks and maniacal laughter. It revels in a world that's ever-so-slightly surreal, almost imperceivably so, to the naked eye. In a way, it's unnerving pop.
Listen to the track below.
"Rattlesnake" is due out on 3 November through Loma Vista/Caroline International.
