Squarepusher, aka Tom Jenkinson, has announced his first album under his Squarepusher name in five years, Be Up A Hello, alongside dropping the lead single "Vortrack".
Jenkinson has also dropped a "Fracture Mix" of his new track "Vortrack". The alternative mix was debuted by Jenkinson on his Warp 30th anniversary NTS takeover in June.
"Vortrack" is the first glimpse of the new Squarepusher album, which will be his first under that name since 2015's Damogen Furies.
Be Up A Hello will also follow on from Jenkinson's 2017 side project Shobaleader One, a band put together to reinterpret a selection of classic Squarepusher tracks on the album Elektrac.
Tracklist:
- Oberlove
- Hitsonu
- Nervelevers
- Speedcrank
- Detroit People Mover
- Vortrack
- Terminal Slam
- Mekrev Bass
- 80 Ondula
"Vortrack" is out now. Squarepusher's Be Up A Hello album will drop via Warp on 31 January 2020, and is available to pre-order now. He plays London's Roundhouse on 15 May 2020. Find out more.
