Sparks are coming to the UK for a handful of live dates
Sparks have announced a trio of UK shows for this spring to support the success of latest full-length Hippopotamus.
The art-rock legends will play three UK dates in May, with further European tour dates and festival slots to be announced soon. This comes after their latest album reached number seven in the UK charts in 2017, making it their first UK Top 10 album since the 1970s. The live shows they played last year also drew widespread critical acclaim, with a full band line-up featuring members of fellow LA band Mini Mansions.
In a statement, brothers Ron and Russell Mael said: "We're extremely thrilled to continue the celebration of Hippopotamus live in concert with all our UK fans. The joy you expressed last year was overwhelming. Bring on 2018!"
