Sky Ferreira has made her return to music with the melancholic "Downhill Lullaby", her first new single in six years.
After promising to release new music this month, the model/actor/singer has finally delivered.
"Downhill Lullaby", the five-and-a-half-minute dark ballad, arrives as her first new music since 2013's Night Time, My Time album.
The new single, co-produced by Ferreira, Dean Hurley, and Jorge Elbrecht, is the first taste 0f her forthcoming Masochism album, which is due for release later this year.
Last week, Ferreira also teased other snippets of different tunes on her Instagram story, which her fan accounts managed to reupload.
"Downhill Lullaby" is out now. Sky Ferreira plays Pitchfork's Music Festival in Chicago this July. Find out more.
