Sharon Van Etten unveils new song "Let Go"
Sharon Van Etten has shared new track "Let Go" today (13 October), which features on the Feels Good Man documentary.
"Let Go" is Van Etten's first new outing sinnce contributing "Untitled" to the To the People of the Land: Carrizo/Comecrudo Solidarity Compilation album last Friday (9 October).
The new track features in the Feels Good Man documentary, which is based on the inception and journey of internet meme Pepe the Frog.
According to Stereogum, Van Etten said of the song, "After watching the documentary, I just followed the feeling of coming to terms with something and tried to evoke peace through my melody and words. The song and film’s producer, Giorgio [Angelini] was a great collaborator and communicator and I was given a lot of freedom. That says a lot about the film and the people who made it."
