serpentwithfeet releases new track "Same Size Shoe"
serpentwithfeet has returned with "Same Size Shoe", the second track to be lifted from his upcoming album DEACON.
"Same Size Shoe" follows last month's closing track "Fellowship", and sees serpentwithfeet sing about his dating preferences.
According to Pitchfork, serpentwithfeet said, "I prefer to date and love on Black men. I don’t want to be with anyone who can’t go to my barber or walk a mile in my shoes."
DEACON will follow serpentwithfeet's 2018 debut album soil, and will feature a collaboration with Nao.
serpentwithfeet says of the new album, "I originally approached this project wanting to make something that felt very sensuous. Something a lot softer, a lot more gentle than my previous work."
