RZA and Raekwon reach "truce" over new Wu-Tang Clan album "A Better Tomorrow"
It’s never easy in the world of the Wu-Tang Clan. It was their 20th anniversary year during 2013 and they’ve been intent on releasing two new albums to, but in-fighting among the group has severely delayed this.
Previously Raekwon had said he’s “on strike” from contributing to one of the new records, A Better Tomorrow, claiming that RZA had “compromised” their integrity. Now though, the pair seem to have patched things up.
A statement on Wu Tang’s official website reads: “Breaking news : Raekwon and Rza truce : Raekwon scheduled to hit studio to complete verses for album : A Better Tomorrow”.
Details are said to be “coming soon”, while their other new album (the one that will cost you $5 million) Once Upon A Time In Shaolin is also on its way.
