The Line of Best Fit
The line up for this year’s Montreal International Jazz Festival sees Canadian singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright head up a bill that includes musical luminaries Diana Ross, Bobby McFerrin, Keith Jarrett and former Cream drummer Ginger Baker.
While the annual event maintains its jazz roots, the likes of Belle & Sebastian, The Specials, Paul Simon and Chuck Berry have all made appearances in recent years. More names are still be announced for the line-up, spread across more than 500 shows.
The festival, now in its 35th year, runs from 26 June – 6 July and tickets are now on sale.
