Roma di Luna are back with their first new record in eight years
Roma di Luna - the Minneapolis group featuring POLIÇA's Channy Leaneagh - are back with their first album since 2010's Then The Morning Came.
Not only have they announced seventh studio collection We Were Made To Forgive, but they're streaming the whole thing too.
"It has been a long time since our last one, and we certainly have a history - a quick Google search will enlighten you," explains Leaneagh. "But here we are, all the original members, releasing nine new songs into the world and for the first time on vinyl. The title is a clue I suppose, but when all is said and done we are all connected. When we’re all in a room together we laugh, play better, laugh some more, are better. We’ve all done a lot of different things musically since our last release, and you can hear some of that in this new one. But you’ll find that same voice, heart and soul in there."
Much of the LP was recorded at Sparta Sound in Minnesota with Rich Mattson, with a few tracks recorded by the band's Ben Durrant at his Crazy Beast Studios and at the Train House in Wisconsin.
The band, who've played with the likes of Mavis Staples and Bon Iver, have also shared a video for their cover of Roy Orbison's "Crying".
