Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and King Khan And The Shrines see out End Of The Road in style
Performing late night secret sets on the Tipi stage, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and King Khan And The Shrines saw out End Of The Road in characteristic style.
Walking onto the stage to choral sing alongs from the crowd, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever were every bit in their element. It might've been the outfit's first time at an English festival, but the band were welcomed as seasoned heroes. Soaring melodies and intricately woven guitar melodies showcased a band at the top of their game, and the crowd lapped up every moment.
King Khan And The Shrines were something else to behold. Having introduced themselves as a "life changing phenomenon" expectations were certainly set high - and the band didn't disappoint. Four person strong tambourine performances, various band members crawling over speakers and into the crowd, and keyboards held aloft, the set was a spectacle as sensational to hear as it was to watch.
