
Robyn, Massive Attack, and Mystery Jets among new names added to Music Declares Emergency campaign
The Music Declares Emergency campaign has passed 2,250 signatures thanks to new names including Robyn, Massive Attack, Mystery Jets, and more.
Last week The 1975, The xx, and others helped bring the Music Declares Emergency campaign to 2,000 signatures.
Today MDE has shared the list of new names that have signed up to demand action on climate change.
Robyn, Massive Attack, Mystery Jets, The Wombats, Tom Morello, Pixx, The Great Escape, Green Man Festival, Loose Music, and others have recently joined the campaign.
Mystery Jets vocalist Blaine Harrison says of his decision to join the MDE campaign, "The music industry needs to find greener ways to put on concerts and festivals, release our art and bring our music to new audiences. We need to be the soundtrack to change."
