Rihanna uses hilarious meme to give update on new album
Rihanna has shared an update on her new album, which is accompanied by a hilarious meme.
Rihanna's ninth album is a bit of a myth at the moment. She hasn't released an album since 2016's ANTI, and she usually swerves questions related to ner next LP.
The delay is largely down to how immensely busy she is with other ventures, including her FENTY make-up range, her FENTY lingerie line, and her recently-launched FENTY fashion line.
Back in October, she revealed her next album is "reggae-inspired", but there's still no release date in mind.
Yesterday (22 December), Rihanna finally shared an update on the new LP, which is accompanied by the hilarious clip of a dog trying to jump out of a box and looking like it's head banging. She captioned the post, "update: me listening to R9 by myself and refusing to release it."

It's not quite the update that everyone was hoping for, but it does hint that Rihanna has at least made progress on the record, and has maybe even finished recording it.
