Hear previously unreleased Purple Rain-era Prince jams "Our Destiny / Roadhouse Garden"
You can now hear a previously unreleased Prince single titled "Our Destiny / Roadhouse Garden" that was recorded during the Purple Rain sessions.
The six-and-a-half(ish) minute track is part of the upcoming deluxe reissues of Prince's seminal Purple Rain LP, which you can find out more about here. It's the second unreleased tune from the release and follows "Electric Intercourse".
"Our Destiny / Roadhouse Garden" is actually two separate tracks that were "married together when performed live". The former features Lisa Coleman on vocal duties, with the latter featuring The Purple One with backing vox from Coleman and Dr. Fink - the "basic tracks for both" were recorded live at Minneapolis' First Avenue on Prince's 26th birthday (7 June 1984).
