Poppy drops surprise EP EAT (NXT Soundtrack)
Poppy is back with a five-track surprise EP titled EAT (NXT Soundtrack), which features the title-track that Poppy debuted during her 2021 Grammys performance in March.
After delivering a cover of Jack Off Jill's "Fear of Dying" last month, Poppy has returned with a surprise EP.
EAT (NXT Soundtrack) features five tracks, including "EAT", which she debuted back in March during her 2021 Grammys performance.
The new EP is released in partnership with the WWE and Sumerian Records, following Poppy's appearance on WWE’s global NXT television programme.
Paul Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President, Global Talent Strategy & Development said, "NXT is all about individuality and building characters and Poppy has built her own brand in a similar fashion to become the world-renowned artist she is today. Releasing her new EP EAT – NXT SOUNDTRACK during NXT television adds another unique layer to our longstanding partnership."
Ash Avildsen, Sumerian Founder/CEO adds, "Not since Cyndi Lauper and the birth of Wrestlemania have we seen an iconic female rock star and pro wrestling collide in such a culturally fascinating way. This is a historical moment for Sumerian, an inspiring story for the new generation of WWE fans and a glimpse into the future of what’s to come from the brilliant mind and vision of Poppy."
