Phoebe Bridgers covers Tom Waits' "Georgia Lee" for new tribute album
Phoebe Bridgers has contributed a cover of Tom Waits' "Georgia Lee" for a new tribute album of Waits songs covered by a variety of women.
"Georgia Lee" is Bridgers' first release since teaming up with The National's Matt Berninger on "Walking On A String" last month.
Bridgers features on the Come On Up To The House: Women Sing Waits album alongside Angie McMahon, Corinne Bailey Rae, Kat Edmondson, Courtney Marie Andrews, and more.
The singer/songwriter is yet to follow up her 2017 debut album Stranger in the Alps. Since then she's worked with Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker on their boygenius project, teamed up with Conor Oberst for their Better Oblivion Community Center collaboration, and produced Christian Lee Hutson's "Northsiders".
