Peter Broderick announces new record Partners, shares lead song "Carried"
Esteemed composer Peter Broderick has announced a new record called Partners, and shared its lead single "Carried".
"Carried" is a six-and-a-bit-minute composition built from sparse textures and otherworldly atmospheres. It's the first example of Broderick's latest creative process - experimenting with the concept of chance, Broderick left the music up to a literal roll of the dice.
In an email to Robert Raths, the founder of his label Erased Tapes, Broderick explains the bizarre concept of utter randomness that bred Partners. Read more about how the album was created.
Partners is out via Erased Tapes on 19 August.
