Pa Salieu says "authorities" are stopping him from playing upcoming show in Coventry
Pa Salieu has revealed that his Afrikan Rebel tour show in Coventry has been cancelled by "authorities".
Next month Pa Salieu will play some UK shows in support of last month's Afrikan Rebel EP, including a hometown show at Coventry's Kasbah venue on 27 November.
On socials today (21 October), Pa Salieu posted a note to socials claiming that "authorities" are stopping him from playing his hometown show.
He wrote, "Sadly due to reasons beyond my control, the authorities have decided I can't play my Coventry show next month. This after already being cut out of certain City Of Culture activities this year is just too disappointing. I feel like I'm being let down by the city I love... Why do they fear us?"
