
Owen announces new album with lead single "A New Muse"

Owen, the solo project of American Football’s Mike Kinsella, has announced his new album The Avalanche, and has shared the lead single "A New Muse".
"A New Muse" is Kinsella's first new Owen track since his 2016 album The King of Whys.
It's also his first solo music since reuniting with American Football for their third album last year, American Football (LP3).
The Avalanche was recorded with producer Sean Carey (Bon Iver, Peter Gabriel) and engineer Zach Hanson (The Tallest Man On Earth, Waxahatchee) at Hive Studio in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Check out the trailer for the LP below.

"A New Muse" is out now. Owen's The Avalanche album is due for release on 19 June via Big Scary Monsters, and is available to pre-order now.
