Nova Twins and Adwaith announced as Music Venue Trust patrons
Nova Twins, Adwaith, HAAi and more have been announced as the latest Music Venue Trust patrons today (1 March).
Music Venue Trust has announced a new wave of patrons today (1 March), which include Nova Twins, Adwaith, HAAi, Moxie, and Kerri Watt.
The new patrons join the likes of Public Service Broadcasting, KAWALA, Savages, IDLES' Joe Talbot, Fickle Friends, Everything Everything's Jeremy Pritchard and more in helping to spread Music Venue Trust's message to protect, secure and improve the UK's grassroots music venues, 20 of which are at risk of imminent closure.
Nova Twins say, "We owe so much to grassroots venues. They are the only way new bands can gain experience and start their careers! They support new artists and bring together an incredible community of local music lovers and musicians. They are essential for smaller bands touring around the UK. Without them, we don’t know where we’d be today!"
Adwaith added, "Grassroot Music Venues are hugely important to us as people as well as a band. Without these venues, we never would have thought that we could start a band (let alone singing in our native language). They are the fundamental building blocks for all artists and musicians all over the world. Without venues, there's no artists. Without artists, there's no music. Without music, there's no culture."
