Nite Jewel announces new album Real High featuring Julia Holter, Dâm-Funk, and more
Nite Jewel has announced Real High, the follow up to last year's Liquid Cool, and shared lead single "2 Good 2 Be True".
The recording sessions for Real High took place over four years with Cole M.G.N. - it's Ramona Gonzalez's fourth studio full-length under her Nite Jewel moniker, and features contributions from some firm friends, including Dâm-Funk, Droop-E, and Julia Holter.
LA-based artist Geneva Jacuzzi has directed the visuals for '90s-twanged lead single "2 Good 2 Be True".
"Those dance sequences were a blast to film," Jacuzzi says of the video. "Ramona, dancing her ass off for hours... Christina [Acevedo] on camera, cracking up... and me, jumping and flailing around the room shouting out inspirato like... 'now we're at the Prince Party!.. Erotic City! Dance Dance!'”
Real High follows last year's record Liquid Cool.
