Nick Cave shares "Shyness" single inspired by The Red Hand Files interaction
Nick Cave has released a new 7" single called "Shyness", which features two tracks inspired by questions answered on his The Red Hand Files site.
"Shyness" is Cave's second single inspired by an interaction on The Red Hand Files, after April's "Grief", and features two tracks titled "Letter to Daniel & Vera" and "Witness", both of which are performed by Cave, Warren Ellis and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
The first track sees Cave reading his response to Daniel and Vera's questions from October 2019. Daniel asked Cave: "What is shyness?", while Vera asked: "What was your first date with your wife like?"
Yesterday (23 September) Cave appeared in the trailer for Benedict Cumberbatch's new film The Electrical Life of Louis Wain.
