New Leeds festival Gold Sounds announces first wave of acts, including Cloud Nothings, Sky Larkin and Pins
On 26 May this year, a brand new all-day festival, Gold Sounds, will descend on the deservedly famous Brudenell Social Club in Leeds – and the first batch of the acts appearing have been announced this morning.
Joining the bill in addition to headliners Cloud Nothings, who were announced on Wednesday, will be Sky Larkin, Pins, Joanna Gruesome, Paws, Menace Beach, Theo Verney, Loom, Kagoule, Blessa, Rad Fru, Polterghost, and Imp and the Spills, with many more still to be announced. The celebration of up-and-coming guitar and noise music will be paired with its own market, hosting stalls selling, amongst other items, records, screen prints and books.
We’re proud to be working with Gold Sounds this year, as they seek to promote the current cream of the guitar-orientated crop in the hallowed halls of the Brudenell, and will be bringing you the latest news, alongside interview and preview content to show the festival throughout its exciting development.
The festival will take place from 1pm at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club on Monday 26 May, with tickets and more information available now here.
