New Kim Petras documentary The Lead Up being released this week
A new Amazon Music documentary about Kim Petras, titled The Lead Up, is being released this week.
The Lead Up will arrive on the Amazon Music YouTube channel this Wednesday (20 July), and will show Petras' preparation in the days leading up to her Coachella debut.
Amazon Music unveiled the official trailer for the documentary last week, and it opens with Petras saying, "I don't want to be invited to the table because I'm transgender. I want to be invited to the table because I put my whole heart into my music."
Last month Petras released a cover of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill" for Amazon Music's Pride Month celebrations. She also revealed she "just did my first acting gig" and hinted at concept record.
