Kim Petras shares Amazon Original cover of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill"
To coincide with the first day of Pride month, Kim Petras has shared an Amazon Original cover of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill".
Petras' cover of "Running Up That Hill" kicks off Amazon Music's Pride month celebrations, and also appears on the platform's PROUD playlist.
"I have always been obsessed with "Running Up That Hill"," Petras said. "It means so much and it’s so elusive. You can definitely decide what you want it to mean. For me, it’s about equality. And my timing for this was strangely perfect."
Petras' cover of Bush's legendary track comes just days after "Running Up That Hill" experienced a 153% increase in streams and topped the iTunes charts in the US after appearing in the fourth season of Stranger Things.
