New book covers Radiohead's "willingness to stare humanity's dystopian hi-tech future in the face"

Radiohead are celebrated in a new book compiling some of the best writing on the band - from their earliest live shows (when they were still called On A Friday) through to profiles from heavyweights such as Simon Reynolds and Will Self.
Present Tense: A Radiohead Compendium is edited Rock's Backpages co-founder Barney Hoskyns who says that the anthology goes a long way towards explaining the band's "seriousness, emotional grandeur and willingness to stare humanity's dystopian hi-tech future in the face'.

The book is released via Constable on 7 February priced £20.
