Nas launches new label Mass Appeal Records after leaving Def Jam

Queens legend Nas has announced his intention to part ways with Def Jam Records later this year to start a label of his own.
As Billboard reports, Nas will launch Mass Appeal Records, aiming to “support future careers and legacy artists” and promote “love and new genius to help the world”. The label’s first release will be a compilation featuring Pusha T, Future, A$AP Mob, Mac Miller and more, while an archival collection from Nas himself The Lost Tapes 2 is also being prepped.
