PRS for Music have announced a new virtual festival called LCKDWN, and Nadia Rose, Joy Crookes, and more are due to perform.

LCKDWN has been announced to raise money for the PRS Emergency Relief Fund, which supports musicians "facing significant financial hardship as we continue to battle the virus".

The virtual festival will take place on Friday (24 April), and will host a series of performances from Nadia Rose, Joy Crookes, KT Tunstall, Katie Melua, Oscar Jerome, Brooke Bentham, Millie Turner, Lauran Hibberd, Big Narstie, Yizzy, Glowe, Be Charlotte, and there's more still yet to be announced.

PRS for Music CEO Andrea Martin said of the event, "We have seen first-hand the difference the PRS Emergency Relief Fund has made and I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has donated so far. PRS Presents LCKDWN is a way for us to collectively celebrate music creators, to support our industry as a united community and to champion the music lifting spirits and getting us all through this challenging time."

Tune in to PRS Presents LCKDWN on Friday (24 April) from middat BST at prsformusic.com.
