Mystery Jets detail new podcast series Things Worth Fighting For
Mystery Jets have shared details of their forthcoming podcast series Things Worth Fighting For, which launches next week.
Things Worth Fighting For will see Mystery Jets vocalist Blaine Harrison speak to different guests in each episode, the first of which will see him speak about aid work and the refugee crisis with Josie Naughton from Help Refugees.
As well as covering the refugee crisis, other topics Harrison will explore throughout the episodes include justice for Grenfell, climate change, female role models and gender equality, racial and class discrimination in Britain, protest culture, homelessness action and addiction, toxic masculinity, the NHS and disabled rights, and mental health in the digital age.
The 10 episodes will feature a different guest each time, and today (26 May) the full list of guests has been revealed. As well as Josie Naughton from Help Refugees, other episodes will feature Radiohead's Ed O'Brien, Joe Talbot of IDLES, Billy Bragg, Judy Bolton from Justice 4 Grenfell, Florence Given of Women Don't Owe You Pretty, the Youth ambassador for the RSPCA and WWF Bella Lack, and others.
Each episode will also feature one of the songs from Mystery Jets' latest album A Billion Heartbeats.
