Modest Mouse announce single, confirm new album on the way

Details are a little thin on the surface still, but confirmations and particulars are slowly drip-drip-dripping into the fray. Modest Mouse are back: with a new single, and if reports are true, a new album.
Well, they will be soon. There's no new music as of yet.
Robin Roth of 91x FM has confirmed that new single "Lampshades On Fire" will impact 15 December. Revolt have also reported that Epic (Modest Mouse's label) have confirmed a new LP for Q1 to them.
