
Miley Cyrus celebrates Mother's Day on Saturday Night Live with Dolly Parton cover
Over the weekend Miley Cyrus returned to Saturday Night Live, and celebrated Mother's Day with a cover of her godmother Dolly Parton's "Light of a Blue Clear Morning".
During Cyrus' Saturday Night Live appearance over the weekend, she performed a cover of Dolly Parton's "Light of a Blue Clear Morning", paying tribute to her godmother ahead of Mother's Day yesterday (9 May).
Cyrus was joined onstage by the show's cast and their mothers, as well as her own mum and manager Tish Cyrus.
As well as covering a song by her superstar godmother Dolly Parton, Cyrus performed the title-track from her 2020 album Plastic Hearts.
Cyrus appeared on SNL alongside Elon Musk. The episode also featured an appearance from Musk's girlfriend Grimes as Princess Peach from Nintendo's Mario franchise.
