Mikal Cronin announces new album MCIII, streams lead track "Made My Mind Up"
Mikal Cronin has announced the release of his third solo outing, MCIII, and is streaming the lead single "Made My Mind Up".
Continuing his strictly DIY approach, Cronin's third long-player is all composed and performed by his own hands. This time, however, he's seeking to explore new timbres, tones and territories, including the tzouras, brass sections and a string quartet.
Cronin will release MCIII via Merge on 4 May. The album will be available on CD, LP and cassette, as well as digital download. The first 500 LP orders will receive a limited edition clear version of the record, and some lucky retailers will also be stocking this edition.
Stream "Made My Mind Up" below. You can find his upcoming tour dates and the tracklist for MCIII afterwards.
