Megan Thee Stallion interpolates Salt-N-Pepa’s "Push It" on new song "Flamin' Hottie"
Megan Thee Stallion has dropped new song "Flamin' Hottie", which interpolates Salt-N-Pepa's classic hit "Push It".
"Flamin' Hottie" is Megan Thee Stallion's first new outing since featuring on Shenseea's "Lick" last month, and arrives ahead of a new Flamin' Hot Cheetos advert also starring Charlie Puth that will premiere at the Super Bowl next week.
The new song, produced by OG Parker and mixed and mastered by Mike Dean, interpolates Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It".
Megan Thee Stallion told Billboard of the collaboration with Flamin’ Hot, "I am The Hot Girl Coach. I am Miss Flamin’ Hottie. I mean, I am all things hot. So I feel like it was very necessary for the Hot Cheeto and the Hot Girl to get together."
She also spoke about her 2021 deal with Netflix, "I’m definitely going to be in my acting bag and I’m definitely going to be in my directing bag. [I] can’t give away too much because you already know as soon as y’all know about something, it’s already been in the works for a minute. I’m super excited, but I don’t wanna give away any surprises though."
