Maya Hawke shares tender new track "Coverage"
Stranger Things' Maya Hawke is back with tender new track "Coverage", another glimpse of her forthcoming debut LP Blush.
"Coverage" is the another taster of Blush, after Hawke released lead single "By Myself" last month. Blush will also feature Hawke's 2019 singles "Stay Open" and "To Love a Boy".
She says of the new single, ""Coverage" is a song I wrote about navigating spending so much of my life and energy living in other people’s stories, other people’s love affairs and other people’s pain... while still trying to hold onto my own. Trying to be present in my own truth, my own relationships."
Of her debut LP, she adds, "This album happened accidentally. From my point of view, Blush is a collection of secret messages, hidden communications with the people in my life."
Hawke will also be donating proceeds made from the Blush merch to the Food Bank for New York City.
