Mark Lanegan Band announce new album Gargoyle, share lead single "Nocturne"
The Mark Lanegan Band have announced new record Gargoyle and shared the brilliantly dark lead single "Nocturne".
The LP features contributions from long-time collaborators Greg Dulli, Duke Garwood, and Josh Homme. Rob Marshall and Alain Johannes helped co-write.
"I’m most proud of the songs that are atypical to stuff that I’ve done in the past," says Lanegan. "So I really like 'Old Swan', because it’s an expression of positivity, which is completely anti-anything I’ve done before! Y’know, I haven’t played this record for too many people yet. I played it for Greg Dulli, who played on some of it, and he was like, ‘Wow, I had to listen to it twice - it sounds like he’s having a good time…'"Gargoyle
Lanegan & Co. have also announced a handful of UK shows - including a slot at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
