It'll take a lot more than broken monitors and bad weather to stop Marika Hackman at End Of The Road

Marika Hackman took to the Tipi Stage half an hour late at End Of The Road - but nothing was going to stand in the way of a bloody good time on the final night of the fest.
Hackman and her band battled through broken equipment and the relentless rain to deliver an invigorating mix of old and new material to the packed-out tent, whose patient waiting paid off - and then some.
Blistering numbers from LP2 - I'm Not Your Man - proved the highlight on the night, with cuts like lead single "Boyfriend" lighting up proceedings and banishing thoughts of the bleak blackness outside.
Early bird tickets for End of the Road 2018 go on sale Tuesday 5 September. Keep an eye on endoftheroadfestival.com for updates.
