Marie Dahlstrom unveils soothing new track "Home With You"
Marie Dahlstrom is back with soothing new track "Home With You", another taster of her forthcoming debut LP Like Sand.
"Home With You" lands after last month's lead single and title-track "Like Sand".
The new track is produced by Dan Diggas (Mahalia), and features guitars from friend and collaborator Sipprell and a talk-box section from DT Soul.
Dahlstrom says of the new single, "I wanted to write about flaws in a kind and positive way. I wanted to hone in on what makes us who we are. The absence of something in a person’s life, makes room for the presence of something else. "Home With You" is a song about celebrating honesty and compassion in love, even if it isn’t always easy."
Like Sand will also feature Dahlstrom's Jeremy Passion collaboration "Through Your Eyes", and last year's "A Loveletter - An Improvisation".
The album was recorded between LA, Copenhagen, and London, and features contributions from James Vickery, Elijah Fox, and more.
