A new clip of Nick Cave and Warren Ellis' Andrew Dominik-directed documentary This Much I Know To Be True has been shared that features Marianne Faithfull, and accompanies news that the film will be available to stream on MUBI next month.
Following the global one-night-only cinema premiere of This Much I Know To Be True last month, it's been revealed that the Andrew Dominik-directed documentary about Cave and Ellis' creative relationship will arrive on the MUBI streaming service in July.
Today (1 June) another clip of the film has been shared, which sees Marianne Faithfull give a reading of May Sarton's Prayer Before Work poem, followed by a performance of "Galleon Ship" from Ghosteen.
The documentary was shot in London and Brighton in 2021, and will follow Cave and Ellis for their first performances of Ghosteen and Carnage.
This Much I Know To Be True will also give viewers a chance to see Cave and his process for his Q+A site The Red Hand Files, and will take viewers inside Cave's workshop where he's working onn a series of sculptures.
