Mammút's Kata Mogensen talks about faking it
Kata Mogensen from the Bella Union-signed Icelandic band Mammút tells us just why she sometimes feels like an imposter in this week's episode of Talk The Line.
Mammút originally formed in 2003 as all-female trio and rose to fame in their home country by winning Iceland's biggest battle of the bands competition. Their fourth album Kinder Versions was released earlier this year and is their first record with lyrics in English.
As a singer and frontwoman, Kata is a force of nature and has been nominated twice for her vocal talents at the Icelandic Music Awards. Her father was a former bandmate of Björk back in the day and she carries the same punk spirit into her performance.
Mammút will play at this year’s Iceland Airwaves.
