Mac DeMarco shares cover of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas"
Mac DeMarco is back with his festive cover for 2020, a woozy version of the classic "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas".
Since 2015 Mac DeMarco has been releasing an annual festive cover to round off the year. It started in 2015 with his version of "White Christmas", and since then he's covered festive staples such as Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmas Time", "The Christmas Song", "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town".
This year DeMarco has chosen to cover "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", performed by the likes of Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Sam Smith, Michael Bublé and more over the years. His 2020 festive cover lands with a video that sees DeMarco performing the track next to a huge inflatable Santa Claus.
The Canadian musician's cover of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" marks his first outing since linking with Myd on "Moving Men" back in October.
