Slacker-rock expert Mac DeMarco has announced his own record label, Mac's Record Label.
Canada's Mac DeMarco has announced his very own record label.
Named Mac's Record Label, Mac DeMarco explained in a statement where the original name came from, “My friend Jen who plays drums in The Courtneys gave me the name."
His record label will distribute music through Universal's global label service Caroline.
While there's no news of any new music or bands signed to Mac's Record Label, the Canadian has revealed a solo tour.
The Purple Bobcat Next to River Tour will commence straight after DeMarco has finished his European and US dates on 3 November.
His solo tour will see the Canadian musician tour the US, and he's even donating $1 of every ticket sale to local Girls Rock Camps through PLUS1,
Mac DeMarco's most recent release is his 2017 album This Old Dog. Since then he released a surprise double release “Met Gala - Red Carpet 7 inch”
