To celebrate St. Patrick's Day earlier this week, Lou Barlow covered a handful of Irish songs, one of which was Fontaines DC's second album title-track "A Hero's Death".
Dinosaur Jr. Sebadoh's Lou Barlow celebrated St. Patrick's Day on Wednesday (17 March) by covering four Irish songs and discussing Irish heritage, traditions and history in a video titled "The Lou Barlow and Family St. Patrick's Day Special".
On top of covering Stiff Little Fingers' "Suspect Device", Barlow also performed an acoustic rendition of Fontaines DC's "A Hero's Death", the title-track from their Grammy-nominated second album.
All four of Barlow's St. Patrick's Day 2021 covers are on Bandcamp now as a free download. Watch Barlow's full St. Patrick's Day video on YouTube.
