Lorde teases Solar Power album with new soundless video
Lorde has updated her website with a new soundless video that features crop circle and beach drawings featuring the initials of her highly-anticipated third album Solar Power.
Last week Lorde made her highly-anticipated comeback with "Solar Power", which featured backing vocals from Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo, and is also the title-track for Lorde's long-awaited third album.
Following the new single release, Lorde has updated her website with a new video that sees a drone flying over two different locations that feature the letters "SP" - one in a crop formation, and the other on a beach.
The video, titled "Every perfect summer’s gotta take its flight", doesn't feature any sound. Watch the full clip at lorde.co.nz.
In a newsletter to fans last week, Lorde wrote of her upcoming album, "The album is a celebration of the natural world, an attempt at immortalising the deep, transcendent feelings I have when I’m outdoors. In times of heartache, grief, deep love, or confusion, I look to the natural world for answers. I’ve learnt to breathe out, and tune in. This is what came through."
Last month Lorde was confirmed as a headliner for one of the nights on the second weekend of Primavera Sound 2022.
