Lone Wolf's Paul Marshall working on new album based on travels across the USA
Paul Marshall, who shed his Lone Wolf moniker in 2015, is working on a new release based on his travels in the USA.
"Okay. So let me tell you about a new record..." Marshall writes on Twitter. "This last year has been, without doubt the most difficult time. Divorce, strain on friendships, worse depression than ever. I have come to the USA by myself with my only companion being my OP1 synth. I'm making a track every day named after the place it was made."
Marshall goes on to say he plans to unveil it as a 'pay what you want release', adding that "[it] is not going to be like anything you have heard me create before. It's a non-coherent sketchbook, like a movie score of my trip."
Marshall's final record as Lone Wolf, Lodge, was released just under two years ago. Speaking to us around that release, the singer/composer explained: "I'm not going to disappear completely, I just think it's time to attempt to be comfortable in my own skin."
