The ethereal, ruthlessly-affecting "B a noBody" from Northern Ireland's SOAK has been reworked by the ruthlessly effective Woman's Hour.
The Kendal pop quartet has shifted the tone from sombre and organic to otherworldly and synth-based. Guitars now chime in like slomo laserbeams, with a keyed ostinato running rampant underneath bubbly bloops and swoony keys. SOAK's vox still yank at your emotions, but there's a stronger sense of intoxication and frustration.
Woman's Hour are set to headline our upcoming residency at The Lexington, Best Fit's Five Day Forecast. They will culminate a week of shows that includes sets from Alma Elste, Nimmo, EKKAH and more.
