Animal Collective's Panda Bear has reworked "All The Rage Back Home" by New York City post-punks Interpol.
The track, far from its punchy rock-centric roots, is warped into a woozy jerkfest, with basslines jutting out at awkward angles, ratatat snares and wobbly bubble synths all gyrating together. It's a heady mess, with Paul Banks howling through the gloop like he's struggling for air.
Interpol's El Pintor is out now via Matador. Panda Bear's latest LP, Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper, is out now on Domino.
