Father John Misty has shared a 16-minute recording of him answering fan questions over the past 360-odd days.
While touring throughout 2015, Misty began to introduce Q&A segments into his live shows, with the audience lobbing queries at him left, right, and centre. Over the course of the year, Misty's collated some of the best from this impromptu IRL AMAs, and sewn them together for a rather brilliant podcasty-type highlights reel.
Misty begins, very Misty-fully: "Thank you for going through the empty motions of this ritual devoid of meaning called the encore... this brazen image of spontaneity".
Then he launches into a best-of of his weirdly wonderful answers to wonderfull weird questions, such as: Does The Shirt Under Your Jacket Have Sleeves?, Could You Do At Least 30 Seconds Of Any Of Your Songs In The Style Of Def Leppard?, and Do You Like Butt-Play?
Earlier this year Misty released I Love You, Honeybear on Bella Union.
