
Lil Nas X announces new single "Holiday" landing this week
Lil Nas X has finally announced his new single "Holiday", which arrives on Friday (13 November).
Since July Lil Nas X has been teasing fans about his debut album. He dropped a clip of "Call Me By Your Name" in July, and then went on to share part of his debut album tracklist in September.
Yesterday (8 November) Lil Nas X announced his new single "Holiday" on socials. The single drops on Friday (13 November), and he shared a 48-second trailer of the new single.
The trailer sees Lil Nas X become Santa Claus before travelling on his flying sleigh. Before the teaser ends, Michael J. Fox appears and says a very Marty McFly-inspired line, "Whatever you do Nas, don’t go to 2020."
"Holiday" features production from Tay Keith (Drake, Future, BlocBoy JB).
After announcing the new single, Lil Nas X teased fans by asking if they want "Call Me By Your Name" at the same time, "should i drop call me by your name with it too? a lil 2 pack?"

"Holiday" will be Lil Nas X's first release since dropping the Nas remix of "Rodeo" in January.
